Thomas Jefferson: Don’t Trust Politicians.

Thomas Jefferson: Don’t Trust Politicians.

Never, ever, ever give any politician the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes, people get more relaxed about following the Constitution when their preferred politician or party is in power. For instance, a Trump supporter told us he was concerned about Jeff Sessions and his directive to ratchet up asset forfeiture. But then he said we should give the president the benefit of the doubt that “he’s using the law just to get bad guys.” He trusts his guy to do the right thing with his power, so he’s willing to give his President a pass. Thomas Jefferson, on the other hand, offered some better advice. Don’t trust any of them. Even when your team is in charge. He said: “In questions of power then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the constitution.”

  1. You publish some of the most wise words that I've come across in this modern age.
It's astounding to me that such brilliant men had such foresight centuries ago that are totally applicable in our modern world — and not just here in the USA, but ring true for all peoples, from all nations.
If you ever would like a volunteer to aide your work at the Tenth Amendment Center, please feel free to contact me. I have no deeper passion in life than the equity of men, well, I also have much love for our pet companions for humanity as well — They teach us love & compassion, just as great people do.
I look forward to your publications on YT due to the sage advice that you remind us of that our republic's founders had. I find their intellectual debates of what this new country should be truly fascinating — and it seems as though God himself helped to guide most of them through the blank canvass that they were gifted with.
    With much respect,

  2. I like what Reagen said about Russia, trust but verify. I prefer Trump over Hillery but that alone does not give him a pass and Sessions is the Swamp.
